Private superyacht, lead engineer, 2025
Full network refresh, led end to end. A Peplink SDX SD-WAN router taking four Starlink terminals, two Peplink BR2 cellular routers and the shore connection as WAN links; a FortiGate 70G high-availability pair; 12 switches; and 35 access points replaced and moved from an on-premises controller to Ruckus cloud management. Three months of preparation, then two weeks on site while the vessel was docked for maintenance.

Four-site engineering firm, SD-WAN lead, 2023
SD-WAN design and implementation lead. Replaced a carrier layer 2 circuit with Fortinet SD-WAN: tunnels from each site to the firm’s datacenter with BGP routing. Part of the team that deployed a FortiGate firewall at each of the four sites, about 30 FortiAP access points and 10 switches, for roughly 100 users.
Figures and representative work reflect the founder’s personal delivery record across 5+ years of commercial network engineering. Packet Federal LLC was founded in 2026.
